Adventure Racing Hub of Ontario  Bark Lake is nestled in the spectacular Haliburton Highlands, as a virtually untouched environmental location. Since 1948, Bark Lake has been synonymous with not only leadership training, but also adventure races. Over the years many different races have been held in and around the Bark Lake area. Bark Lake is located near the town of Irondale, which is between Minden, Gooderham, and Haliburton. The area is not far south of Algonquin Park. The area features a network of ATV trails that creates excellent mountain biking opportunities, couple this with the northern Ontario terrain and lake network that will ensure that you get that pine scent in your clothes minus the green air freshener. The staff at the Bark Lake Leadership Centre are fantastic hosts and are very accommodating. The facilities that are onsite are some of the very best that you are going to find for a remote adventure race.
